The farmyard at Lusthof Farm
Welcome to

Lusthof Farm

A family farm where the fields feed the table, guests rest in cabins beneath the stars, and couples marry among the trees. You are warmly invited.

Welcome

A young family farm, tended with care

Lusthof — an old word for a garden of pleasure — is a family farm established in 2019. Today it is a working farm, a peaceful retreat and a place to gather, tended to the same quiet standard throughout.

Life at Lusthof Farm
Our Story

Farmed by hand, with heart

Lusthof is a young family farm, established in 2019, born from a simple wish: to grow good food and share this beautiful corner of the countryside with others.

We farm with care and patience, tending our gardens, our animals and our land through every season — because we believe that is what makes our produce, our welcome and our mornings feel the way they do.

Whether you come for a basket of produce, a night in a cabin, or the day you marry, you arrive as a guest and leave, we hope, as a friend of the farm.

Dr Elizabeth Kharuchas

The heart of Lusthof Farm

Dr Elizabeth Kharuchas has spent her life caring for people. She began her career as a nurse, went on to earn a master's degree in business, and then completed her PhD.

Today she brings that same care, discipline and warmth to Lusthof — a family farm that welcomes everyone: to visit the farm stall, to camp, to stay in one of our A-frame cabins, or simply to enjoy the quiet of the countryside.
